Carolyn and Rob Winter Engagement Session | Sara Bonacci Photography | Weddings

I have said it a million times - I love LOVE!  Carolyn and Rob are one of the funniest couples I've met, and I am so excited to shoot their July wedding this year.  We met up at the park on a cold winter day and took their photos.  There were so many laughs, and I think couples that laugh together are the happiest of couples.

I can't wait until your wedding, Rob and Carolyn!  Thanks for choosing me to capture your special day.

The N Kids

Seriously, how adorable are these two?  I was lucky enough to photograph their family this summer, and when their mom contacted me to do a photoshoot with them for their birthdays, I was so excited!  They came over on a very snowy Sunday, and we took a few outside and then more in my home.  I love how they turned out!

2015 Seniors - Where are You?

Oh my goodness, it's getting close.  Senior session time!  I have had a blast photographing seniors the last two years.  Let me break down what a senior session looks like when you book with Sara Bonacci Photography.

First, contact me!  Either send me an email or a message and let me know you're interested in having SBP shoot your senior photos.  We can discuss dates and times, and all the nitty gritty legal stuff (contracts and payments).  This is the only boring part of your session!  ;)

Second, let's chat!  I'll set up a time for us to grab a coffee and go over your hopes and dreams...for your senior session, that is!  What types of photos are you looking for, what are definite MUSTS, and where are you hoping to have your photo taken?  I'm open for anything and love adventures, so let's make your senior session a fun one!

Three, the BIG day!  We will meet at our set time/location and start the fun.  Plan on 2-3 hours for your session.  This includes time for driving from place to place and your outfit changes.  Bring many different options!  I've been known to drive past a beautiful field with a gorgeous sunset and make an abrupt stop and take a few photos right there.

Four, the wait.  Ok, this might be boring, too.  You have to wait two weeks before you can see your photos.  But it's totally worth it.  I promise!  Once the two weeks pass, you will be emailed a link to your online gallery where you can see your amazing photos!  Feel free to share with friends, family, and especially the grandparents.  :)  You will then have two weeks to place your print order.
Think you're interested? Ready to have a fabulous time at your senior session and get great photos?  Hit me up with an email (sarabonacciphotography@yahoo.com) and I will gladly answer any questions you have.  Or go to www.sarabonacciphotography.com and click on Senior Sessions to see pricing details.

I'm so excited to work with you!

Julie Paisley Real Wedding Workshop - Tulsa, OK

When I first became interested in starting my own photography business, I was told to start researching different photographers and study their styles, marketing, and branding.  I should look at how they tie it all together and get inspired.  And so, I started searching.  And holy cow, there are a billion photographers out there!  I was overwhelmed looking through their photos and trying to see what style of photography spoke to me.  I knew that I wanted to be ME, but I wanted some inspiration.

And then I found Julie Paisley Photography.

I'm sure it was some random post she had written - but the way she wrote it made it feel like she was speaking directly to me.  Like we were good friends, sitting on the front porch, chit chatting about photography.

After I had been following her for a couple of years, I decided to go to one of her real wedding workshops.  The dates for ones close by didn't work for me, but the one in Tulsa did.  I kissed my kids and husband goodbye, loaded up all my gear, and took a plane to Oklahoma.

The night I met Julie, I was a tad nervous.  I mean, this was THE Julie Paisley.  I went to the lobby and was immediately greeted with a hug, a huge smile, and the sweetest southern twang I ever heard.  Ok, I was in Oklahoma, so I heard a lot of cute southern accents.  ;)  Julie was so down-to-earth and REAL.  After dinner, we even headed out to Target where we debated on whether a certain curling iron would work or not.  (Some how we all ended up buying one, even though I have short hair and don't ever curl it.)

The wedding was beyond awesome.  It was so cool to watch Julie work.  She was great about showing us how to pose, use the light, move around until we get the perfect spot.  She was open to suggestions and would jump out of the way to make sure we got our shot.  I wish I could list all that I learned from her, but if you are a photographer and have not gone to a JPP workshop - GO!  You will not regret it.

The following day, we met in Julie's hotel room for the "lecture" portion of the workshop.  I never knew that time could fly so fast.  We talked about culling, editing, accounting, and our businesses; what works and what doesn't, how to improve our marketing, branding, and just improve our business as a whole.  I had so much information, that my head was spinning.  But I was inspired!  I left there with a business plan and knew what changes I needed to make.

Thank you so much, Julie, for a fantastic and informative weekend.

Julie and the workshop girls!  Such wonderful girls - I so wish I lived closer!!

Happy New Year

It is now 2014, and I am hard at work putting together my wedding website.  This year, Sara Bonacci Photography will primarily focus on families (and kids), seniors, and weddings.  These are definitely the areas that I love to focus on.

I am revamping my pricing and how I run my business.  I learned so much during 2013, and am changing things to make SBP run more smoothly as well as create a unique and amazing photography experience for you.

Head on over to my website and check things out!  www.sarabonacciphotography.com

I will be sure to let you know when my wedding site is up and running.

Thank you for all your support this last year.  I love my job, and the majority of that love is due to wonderful clients like you!
