Alexa and Luke | Engagement Session

Alexa and Luke rocked their engagement session.  We had so much fun walking though downtown Alma and then heading to the street they both live on.  It's funny how these two lived just down the street from each other, yet didn't meet until they were older.

We then had a picnic where I introduced the two of them to my favorite wine.  (Just in case you're wondering, it's Black Star Farms Arcturos, Late Harvest Riesling.  You're welcome.)

Anyway, in a nutshell, these two are the definition of love.

I cannot wait for their September, 2015 wedding!

Shelby and Trevor | Central Michigan Wedding

I was so happy when Shelby asked me to photograph her wedding.  We had hit it off right away and I loved her huge smile and bubbly personality.  I also loved the fact that she was wearing cowgirl boots.  ;)

Heavy rain and cold temperatures were in the forecast for their Saturday wedding, but after some morning showers, the sun came out and the most gorgeous skies were the background for their photos.

Love when that works out!

Becca and Mike | Rustic Wedding | Sara Bonacci Photography | Family and Wedding Photographer

Becca and Mike are originally from Michigan, but live in California.  They came back for their wedding.  I don't know about you - but planning a wedding in the same state is stressful enough, I can't imagine doing it from the opposite side of the country!

I didn't get to do an engagement session with Becca and Mike due to the fact that they don't live here, so I was a little nervous about meeting them - on their wedding day!  Thankfully, they both are incredibly sweet and so much in love.

They opted to do a first look, which I loved.  If you're not familiar with a first look, it's when the couple sees each other before the ceremony, privately.  Although, Becca and Mike did have two photographers snapping away - they honestly didn't even seem to notice that we were there.
