The A Family

The A family had been wanting a family portrait for a while, but with the family spread out over three different states, it was rather difficult.  We finally were able to schedule a time during Thanksgiving weekend.  It was such a fun shoot!  It was cold, but this family was full of laughter that kept us all warm.

The B family wanted pictures taken for Christmas presents.  Such a gorgeous family!  The boys came up with their own ideas and I loved taking their photographs.

Time Flies...

My little baby is growing up.  Today we were playing outside and as the sun hit her little face, I decided I needed to capture the moment.  There are times I'm so preoccupied with cooking dinner, cleaning the house, chasing after the kids and the dog, and running errands that I forget to stop.  I forget to look at my beautiful kids and memorize their faces.  Their little giggles and pudgy hands that soon will change into grown up laughs and grown up hands.  I have to stop what I'm doing and have an impromptu dance party with my girls, play a game of checkers with my oldest son, have a car race with my youngest son.  These are the moments that are important.  It's not the "To-Do List" that should be prioritized - it's the little people in my life that need my attention.  Today I ask you to stop and capture a moment with your child or grandchild.  Before you know it, they'll be too big for your snuggles...
