Mr. and Mrs. Buckland

Let me just say that Carolyn and Rob are truly in love.  Like, madly, deeply, wildly in love.  So much so, that the two of them have been able to maintain a long-distance relationship, a long-distance engagement, and will probably have a long-distance marriage for a few months.  But their love is strong and even though it'll be tough, I know that it will only bring them closer when they are FINALLY together!

I met these two lovebirds at their engagement session.  It was freezing cold (remember last winter?  Yikes)  These two were great sports and I instantly felt connected to them.  We spent much of their session laughing, so I was very excited for their wedding day.

Carolyn looked gorgeous, Rob looked stunning, and the entire wedding party was fabulous!  It was such a beautiful day (despite the rain and storms that came through during the reception).  Special thanks to Carrie House, of Carrie Cathleen Photography, for second shooting for me!

Congratulations, Rob and Carolyn.  Thank you so much for choosing me to capture your wedding day!

Beautiful Miss M

My, oh, my.  It has been a LONG time since I have blogged!  I will be working on this for the next couple weeks, and hopefully, I'll be all caught up by Christmas.  Ha!

To kick of the summer, I was fortunate enough to be asked to photograph the sweet Miss M again.  Her and her family live down the street from me, and I love photographing them!

We once again worked in their backyard, which is nothing short of magical.  The light and the river and nature make it a photographer's dream!

Enjoy!

Mr. B - 1 Year Old Session | Sara Bonacci Photographer - Children

Who doesn't love cake?  This cutie came to visit me to celebrate his first birthday with a cake smash.  His big brother came along, too, so I was able to get a few of him as well!  I absolutely love photographing kids - especially on their birthdays.

Sweet Miss E is 2!

Miss E was my VERY FIRST photo session!  I did her newborn photos, for free, and was a nervous wreck.  I proudly posted them on Facebook and whispered to myself, "I'm a photographer!"  I look at those now and think, "Whoa, I was a beginner!"  My photography style has grown, just like Miss E, who celebrated her second birthday recently.  I have loved watching her grow up into the spunky little girl she is becoming.  And those eyes!  As you know, I'm a sucker for blue eyes!

Mom wanted to me to grab some of Miss E's siblings (who I also adore - Mr. C is my godson!)

The S Family

I've known the S family for four years.  They are a very care-free family who have a profound love for one another.  I'm so excited for them as they start a new grand adventure together - moving to China!  In fact, they are on a plane to China to house hunt as I type this!  I'm sure that they will love their new life, although they will be greatly missed here in mid-Michigan!

Good luck in your next chapter, S family!
