I hit the jackpot with Alex and Ramon.
First of all, they're adorable. Alex has the cutest little smile and Ramon's smile is so big, his eyes disappear. I love that! We were laughing through our meeting, and I knew we would make a good fit. So, yes, I was ecstatic when Alex emailed me asking me to be their wedding photographer!
We had a fall engagement session and ended up walking about five miles through the woods. It's a good thing we had a sense of humor, because that could have turned ugly. ;)
All week, the weather had predicted rain for Alex and Ramon's wedding day. Luckily, it changed and was a gorgeous day. Perfect temperatures!
I have to give mad props to my second shooter, Megan Moll, for capturing the details and groom's pictures for me. :)
I loved Alex's elegant hair style with the gorgeous clip.
Alex's bridesmaids were so much fun! Honestly, it was a great wedding party.
The back of Alex's dress was stunning. The lace detailing was something she wanted me to make sure I captured for her.
One of my favorite things - the groom's face when he first sees his beautiful bride.
Ramon might be a macho man, but he was holding in those tears.
The newlyweds!! I would have a kissing photo here, but I kid you not, Ramon and Alex had the fastest kiss in the history of the world. I scolded them afterwards. ;)
We headed over to Dow Gardens for some photos of the couple and their wedding party.
We then headed to the Tridge, because when you get married in Midland, you obviously need photos there!
We then made a pit stop to 7-Eleven, because it was July 11 - FREE SLURPEE DAY!
Alex and Ramon's reception was at the Golden Glow Ballroom in Saginaw. It was beautiful. Alex is a teacher and has a love of books and reading. She did an amazing job of incorporating her love of books into their wedding.
Thank you so much, Alex and Ramon, for choosing me to capture your gorgeous wedding. I am so happy and honored to have done it.
XOXOXO
